Who are we?
World Trade Center Beirut is a member of the World
Trade Centers Association, New York (WTCA) (www.wtca.org)
known for its unique global mission of promoting
and facilitating international trade.
|
What is the WTCA?
WTCA was established in 1970 to facilitate international
trade by bringing together exporters, importers, and
service providers.
The WTCA is a not-for-profit, non-political association
that fosters the WTC concept and develops inter-WTC
cooperative programs.
WTCA membership includes 291 WTCs in 88 countries. Over
800,000 companies are affiliated with WTCA members worldwide.
The WTCA has been a world leader in creating innovative
services for international businesses.
What is a WTC?
More than an edifice or an organization, the World Trade
Center (WTC) brings together business and government
agencies involved in international trade; it provides
essential trade services, and stimulates the economy
of the region it serves. A WTC puts all the services
associated with global commerce under one roof.
"A WTC in any city is a business shopping center,
complementing and supporting the existing services of
private and government agencies", explains the
WTCA President, Guy F. Tozzoli.
What is the objective of WTC Beirut?
The objective of WTC Beirut is to provide local businesses
- interested in international trade and in expanding
their markets - with valuable opportunities and qualified
services.
WTC Beirut shall be at the service of the Lebanese economy
in its integration with regional and world trade systems.
What is your stake?
By joining WTC Beirut your company's market focus will
be expanded, and your opportunities multiplied. WTC
Beirut provides your business with the knowledge and
means to attain markets you thought are out of your
reach.
Our professional staff and worldwide network of WTCs
and their affiliated members will render your business
easier and make it more profitable than you have ever
